I do not think that enough has been done to combat racism. Although most people nowadays do not show racism acts, many still have racist thoughts. These thoughts may not be very strong, just very simple things may cause these thoughts. For example, many people in Singapore feel that Indians are "Dirty", Indian food stores, Indian people. When they see Indian construction workers, some immature Singaporeans would laugh at them, this is also a form of racism. Therefore, I feel that there is not enough done to combat racism.
I feel that racism can be dealt with in Singapore by allowing different races to have more interaction with each other. Although most Singaporeans can already accept other races' culture, this acceptance does not run throughout. There are still a part of a race that is not accepted by some of other race. So if we allow all of one race to interact with all of another race, this problem of a small part not being accepted may be reduced.
